41 Cooper Square.

Launched in 2002 with the completion of the City’s rezoning process and programming efforts, my work on this project included: management of an architect and construction management selection process; intimate involvement in the design process; working with Morphosis Architects and Sciame Construction, and a talented team of specialized consultants, day-to-day oversight of the $165 million development – culminating in a LEED Platinum building featuring leading-edge design and sustainability. Opened in Sept 2009.

CLARK On 41 Cooper Square:

“I’ll always remember one of the Morphosis team members’ comment: ‘Architects create good buildings, but it takes a great client to build a great building.’ Cooper Union President George Campbell put together a world-class team, including Thom Mayne, Sciame Construction, and the Cooper academic and administration community. The result is one of the world’s great buildings.”
